Hi,

this is bit off-topic, but you seem like a right person to give this little feedback I have.

I just would like to see the +/- file selection method in the plasmoid. You know, the method used in Dolphin. The plasmoid's looks and behavior would come more consistent to the filemanager, and it is just really handy way to select few files.

Thanks.

Hey Alessandro!

This looks amazing. I really like this previewer. I am doing academic work, often on several projects at a time which always involve taking notes and translating. I have the silly habit of frequently saving files under new names to keep track of changes. This plasmoid is very helpful since it allows me to quickly browse through groups of files, preview them and open those that are relevant.

Keep up the great work!

Looking good. I have no idea if I'll use it, but it's great to see all these improvements going on. I do like the glassy look of the file list background, it really matches the dark Oxygen theme borders of the plasmoid. GG!

@somebody: i can't get you wrong since many of you asked the same =)

If you don't feel the need to use a software simply don't use it, since software (at least this) have to ease your interaction with PCs.

Btw I often explain through a use-case suggested to me by a friend:
you install some software you’ve never used before. It gives you Readme/Documentation and installs instructions in three different files while you need to config/setup your app on the terminal: just open the files with previewer and switch among them. Then close them when you finish =).

Since the dialog is nice and small, you can keep it in a corner of the screen and check a file of your chose while doing your work. I find it useful when i download some files and just want to have a "quick look" at them =).

As a plasmoid because it performs a simple task and i found it nice to made as a plasma applet. :)

In the future Previewer could be used to keep track of changes made to remote files hosted on an ftp server and quickly preview them to see whether changes have been made or not.

hey,

don't get me wrong, but in which cases are you using this previewer? Personally, I can't imagine to use it..

Therefore it's interesting to know HOW/WHEN others use it :)
Why should I preview a file? (probably it's faster, anything else) And why as a plasmoid?

Bye :)
