They used to work in the darkness… they just did their job and nobody could know about them… all of you are benefiting from their job… they live behind the scenes… but now things have changed! They are “The applets’ makers” and you will know more about them since… revision 881889!!
Ok i’m not so fool as it may seem. I just found some time to implement the feature you’ll see below from the screenshots and i wanted to share it with you =).
As you maybe noticed the “info icon” only appears on hovering so that we avoid the UI to become too crowded.
So clicking the icon you’ll get the well known AboutApplicationDialog that will show you some credits about the applet.
So that’s all folks, i just wished to post this. See you soon.
And stay tuned for the almighty 4.2 release!
Cheers.

Great! Is there any plan for integrating an help button somewhere on the plasmoid or the add widget window so that they can have a handbook, like other apps? As plasmoids become as powerful as normal apps they also become as complicated and a manual would be useful.
How do you hover on a (non-wacom) touch screen? Just a thought.
@Troy: on touch devices you have to actually touch the item which will get these hover interfaces shown.
@Troy Unrau: good point
clicking that icon area should do the job anyway… but i’ll talk to aaron about this, maybe i’ll make it as the star.. thanks
@Aaron Seigo: lol, didn’t expect a so fast answer
While showing the icon on hover looks nice, in reality I’d say it’s less friendly to users. I mean moving the mice over various parts of a screen or window just to check if there any hidden icons could eventually hurt the usability.
